The phrase, “Xaala Mainama” comes from the Senegalese tribe, “Wolof.” “Yalla” means “God” and, thus the phrase, “Xaala Mainama" was coined to mean “Everything that God has given us.” We take everything that God has given us and share it with those who will receive it.
The phonetic spelling is "Yalla Mine-ugh-muh"

Xaala Mainama Inc. is a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to empowering concerned individuals in the community to lead and guide the direction of youth and young adults. Our mission includes instilling pride and encouragement in the community by teaching cultural history, and life-skills to the youth as well as adults through instruction, providing healthy examples, and empowering them to make their own accomplishments within the community.
